The programme integrates skills development in the curriculum relevant to the ICT and Electronics industry.  Students will develop both technical skills and transferable skills for graduate employment in various industries.

Entry Requirements

  • FOUNDATION / MATRICULATION: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.0 credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
  • STPM: Pass with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
  • DIPLOMA: In Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology/Information Systems with a minimum CGPA 2.5 credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent. Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 with a credit in additional mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted subject to an internal assessment process;
  • Any other Diploma in science and technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted subject to an internal assessment process and a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

Course Overview

Intelligent System deals with embedded, internet-connected system that has the capacity to gather and analyse data and communicate with other systems.  

The BSc (Hons) Intelligent Systems is designed to enable students to develop the knowledge and skills for lifelong learning, research and career development in industrial, commercial, scientific computing and electronics engineering. 

At the end of the Programme, graduates should be able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge and understanding of essential facts, concepts, principles, and theories relating to Intelligent Systems; 
  • apply theoretical principles, data structures and algorithms to optimize the performance of Intelligent Systems; and
  • apply computing skills and methodology to analyse, design, develop and evaluate Intelligent Systems.
