About Me

What is the first thing you do after a big exam?
Eat, eat, eat and EAT!

What was your most embarrassing moment in class?
Once I had a presentation and I had my zipper down.

Name three things someone can always find in your bag/backpack?
My power bank, a bottle of water and a notebook.

About My University / College

Why did you choose this university/college?
IACT College is known for being one of the best communication colleges and the environment here is relaxed, yet serious in the sense that students here are trained to do well in the industry as we are taught by industry professionals.

Where is your favourite hangout on campus, and why?
The library – The library in general is a place where everyone meets and there’s a silent room for work to be done as well.

If you could change one thing about your university/college, what would it be, and why?
Previously, most of the students know each other as we have a common hangout spot we called “The Gallery”. Now, there isn’t exactly a “hangout spot” for IACT students anymore, leaving us no avenue to mingle around with people from other intakes or courses.

Please rate your university/college on the factors below(1 = poor, 5 = excellent)

  • Location: 4
  • Campus Life: 3
  • Coursemates: 4
  • Lecturers/tutors: 4
  • Food: 2

About My Course

Who influenced you to choose this course?
The education counsellors in IACT College played a big role in influencing me to take a Diploma in Mass Communications as it was more general and allowed me to touch on many different areas.

What is the hardest subject/module in your course, and why?
Media Research, Planning and Buying – It's more towards advertising and marketing which isn't my forte and most of the lessons are presentation based, hence the class gets a bit distracting.

If you were given a second chance to choose a course, would you choose your current course again? Please explain.
I would choose my current course again because I've learnt so much in so many fields based on Project Based Learning and explored a lot in my period of time here.
