Entry Requirements

Academic Qualification: STPM*
Minimum Entry Requirement:  2 Principal Passes with minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) & Credit in Add Math at SPM level or equivalent

Academic Qualification: GCE A Level
Minimum Entry Requirement:  2 Principal Passes & Credit in Add Math at SPM level or Grade C at O-Level or equivalent

Academic Qualification: UEC
Minimum Entry Requirement: 5 Credits (Min Grade B) including Math

Academic Qualification: Foundation/ Matriculation*
Minimum Entry Requirement: Pass with CGPA ≥ 2.00 and Credit in Add Math at SPM level or equivalent

Academic Qualification: Diploma*
Minimum Entry Requirement: A Diploma (Level 4 MQF) in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems or equivalent with CGPA ≥ 2.50 & Credit in Add Math at SPM level or equivalent. 
Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 with a Credit in Add Math at SPM level or equivalent may be admitted subject to rigorous internal assessment process; or

Any other  Diploma (Level 4 MQF) in Science and Technology with CGPA ≥ 2.50 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process & Credit in Add Math at SPM level or equivalent

*Remarks: The above candidates without a Credit in Add Math may be admitted if the above qualification contains subjects in Add Math that are equivalent to SPM level
 
Candidates with a Credit in Computing related subjects at SPM or STPM level or equivalent may be given preferential consideration.

Course Overview

The Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) in Computer and Network Technology degree programme is designed to provide a challenging programme for students to demonstrate their full potential in respect to computer networking, software development and computer hardware in the context of modern digital communication systems. This degree is validated by a leading UK university and upon successful completion of the programme graduates are awarded two degree certificates. The courses offered cover a wide range of topics including object-oriented programming, network programming and computational mathematics, computer data networks using languages and tools such as Java, C , UNIX, Network Simulators, Network sensor smart home environment.
