Entry Requirements

Academic Qualification: *STPM
Minimum Entry Requirement: 2 Principal Passes and Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent

Academic Qualification: GCE ‘A’ Level
Minimum Entry Requirement

Minimum Standard
2 Principal Passes (EE) and Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or Grade C at O-Level or equivalent.

Dual Award Required Standard
2 Principal Passes (CC) and Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or Grade C at O-Level or equivalent
Applicant without 2 Principal Passes (CC) may be considered on a case by case basis by the Dual Award University partner.

Minimum Entry Requirement: 5 Credits (Min B6) including Mathematics

Minimum Entry Requirement:

Minimum Standard
Pass with CGPA ≥ 2.00 and Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.

Academic Qualification: *Diploma
Minimum Entry Requirement: A Diploma (Level 4 MQF) in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology / Information Systems or equivalent with CGPA ≥ 2.50 & credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; or
 
Any other Diploma (Level 4 MQF) in Science and Technology or Business Studies with a minimum CGPA 2.50 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent.
 
Candidates with CGPA ≤ 2.50 but ≥ 2.00 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.

*Remarks: The above candidates without a Credit in Mathematics may be admitted if the above qualification contains subject in Mathematics that are equivalent to SPM level. 
 
Candidates with a Credit in Computing related subjects at SPM or STPM level or equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
