The aim of this programme is to provide students with the basic knowledge of principles in computer systems and information technology while incorporating practical skills to troubleshoot hardware and networking issues and develop simple web pages that will support the industry'’s needs.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM / SPMV: Pass with a minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics or any equivalent qualification; OR
  • UEC: Pass with minimum Grade B in any 3 subjects and including Mathematics; OR
  • O-Level: Pass with minimum Grade C in any 3 subject and including Mathematics; OR
  • SKM Level 3 Pass, and a credit in Mathematics in SPM or its equivalent; OR
  • Certificate College Community Level 3: Pass, and a credit in Mathematics in SPM or its equivalent; OR
  • Certificate Level 3: Pass, and a credit in Mathematics in SPM or its equivalent; OR
  • STPM or its equivalent: Pass with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject or any equivalent qualification and a credit in Mathematics in SPM or equivalent; OR
  • Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM): Pass with a minimum of Grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics in SPM; OR
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government.

AND
Students must pass: 

  • IELTS with a minimum band of 5.0; OR
  • TOEFL with a minimum score of 500; OR
  • Pass in Cambridge English/ Edexcel ‘A’ Level; OR
  • Pass in English (O-Level or equivalent to SPM 1119)
