About Me

What is the first thing you do after a big exam?
Usually after every major exam, my classmates and I will go food hunting. My college is situated in a place where there are cafés and restaurants around, so after an exam we will always go somewhere to eat, chat and have fun.

What was your most embarrassing moment in class?
Oh my, I have so many embarrassing moments it is so hard to choose one! There was a day when I was really tired during class, trying to keep my eyes open and I yawned. The yawn was so loud that the whole hall went quiet and everyone including the lecturer looked at me. I'm not sure about their facial expressions as I was sinking away in my chair.

Name three things someone can always find in your bag / backpack?
I'll skip the normal stuffs like cell phone and wallet, etc. The 3 things that you can always find in my bag are my planner, biscuits/food and a tuning fork.

About My University /College

Why did you choose this university / college?
I chose MIA because they have an affordable tuition fee for the music programme. I Initially I thought it would just be a mediocre institution that caters for people that struggle for money. Instead, I received quality education with lecturers who care so much about our growth. They really taught us with all their hearts and that's why I appreciate and liked it so much here.

Where is your favourite hangout on campus, and why?
My favourite place is the practice room. My classmates and I will hang out at practice rooms and we will practice our act together. It's the musician way of hanging out *wink*

If you could change one thing about your university / college, what would it be, and why?
It would be the mind-set of the students. Some of them thought that learning music is an easy affair and are not prepared to put a lot of effort in their music. Initially, I voiced out my opinion, but there's no help in complaining, so I started to change, first myself, then amazingly my classmates follow suit.

Please rate your university/college on the factors below (1 = poor, 5 = excellent)

About My Course

Who influenced you to choose this course?
That would be my mother, she sent me to music lessons when I was very young, and I came to love it so much and chose this course.

What is the hardest subject / module in your course, and why?
The hardest module is Arranging. The subject comes with challenging assignments to accompany you through the semester.

If you were given a second chance to choose a course, would you choose your current course again? Please explain.
Definitely yes, simply because I love it!
