Serving as a stepping stone to our diploma programmes, this certificate course allows students to thoroughly learn about the many facets of the art and design industry in depth before moving on to their next chapter. The subjects taught range from general art to an introduction to other courses or subjects in the art and design industry.

The Certificate in Communication Design is an extensive induction programme. Throughout the 4 semesters, subjects like drawing, digital art & design, introduction to visual communication, introduction to multimedia, interior design, fundamental studies, animation basics, general art appreciation and more are covered. Students will undergo comprehensive foundation training in art & design process while building their confidence to self-explore later in their chosen field upon completion of this course.
After taking the Certificate in Communication Design, students may opt to major in any of our offered diploma programmes: Digital Media Design, Advertising & Graphic Design, Interior Design, Digital Animation, Film Visual Effects, Illustration, Fashion Design & Pattern Making and Fine Arts.
